Chac Mool - Nadie en especial - 1980 (Symphonic/Space/Folk Progressive Rock {Mexico})

A aparição de Chac Mool no palco coincide com o início da década do "estouro" do rock mexicano. Uma das principais características do grupo, cujos líderes foram Armando Suárez e Jorge Reyes, foi a criação de atmosferas através de letras profundas que forçaram o ouvido a se deslocar para um mundo fantástico.
Chac Mool instrumentação também foi um pioneiro na América Latina, e incorporando elementos como o violoncelo, bandolim, bateria, sintetizadores, flauta e instrumentos pré-hispânicos, tudo graças à engenhosidade dos elementos da banda. Ao contrário de outros grupos de rock progressivo, Chac Mool nunca tentou fazer uma competição entre instrumentos, além de imprimir sua marca pessoal na música, criando seu próprio estilo.
O primeiro álbum, lançado em 1980 ("Nadie en especial" ) reflete uma crítica social de maneira fantástica, como em "Un mundo feliz", no qual ele toca no mundo dos seres perfeitos nascidos em laboratório ou em "El visitante", que é de natureza dual, por um lado pode ser interpretado literalmente onde um ser extraterrestre é introduzido no modo muito peculiar de viver do ser humano; uma segunda interpretação sugere que o estrangeiro pode ser qualquer pessoa que visite outro país."Bienvenidos al fin del mundo" é uma visão do apocalipse definitivamente influenciada pelas obras do grupo inglês Genesis. Eles também destacam "El día que murió el Rey Camaleón": um trabalho que conta a história de um reino fantástico e bizarro que recentemente perdeu seu líder. "Nadie en especial" é um assunto que lida com a impessoalidade da vida moderna. Após o lançamento deste álbum de sucesso, o grupo faz várias apresentações bem-sucedidas na Cidade do México.

The appearance of Chac Mool on stage coincides with the beginning of the decade of the "burst" of Mexican rock. One of the main characteristics of the group, whose leaders were Armando Suárez and Jorge Reyes, was the creation of atmospheres through deep lyrics that forced the ear to move to a fantastic world.
Chac Mool Instrumentation was also a pioneer in Latin America, and incorporating elements such as cello, mandolin, drums, synthesizers, flute and prehispanic instruments, all thanks to the ingenuity of the band elements. Unlike other progressive rock groups, Chac Mool has never attempted a competition between instruments, as well as imprinting his personal brand on music, creating his own style.
The first album, released in 1980 ("Nadie en especial") reflects the social critique in a fantastic way, as in "Un mundo feliz", in which he touches on the world of perfect beings born in the laboratory or in "El visitante", that is of dual nature, on the one hand it can be interpreted literally where an extraterrestrial being is introduced in the very peculiar way of living of the human being; a second interpretation suggests that the foreigner can be anyone who visits another country. "Bienvenidos al fin del mundo" is a vision of the apocalypse definitely influenced by the works of the English group Genesis. They also highlight "El día que murió el Rey Camaleón": a work that tells the story of a fantastic and bizarre realm that recently lost its leader. "Nadie en especial" is an issue that deals with the impersonality of modern life. After the release of this successful album, the group makes several successful presentations in Mexico City.
