A reedição vem acompanhada

com livretos de 12 páginas, fotos da

banda e uma curta história sobre o início e período de gravação dos dois álbums (em francês e inglês).

HISTÓRIA

O baixista Gilles Douïeb criou a Chute Libre em 1975 com outros três amigos de Boulogne Billancourt: Olivier Hutman nos teclados, Umberto Pagnini na bateria e Mino Cinélu nos vocais e percussão. Após uma cintrato com a EMI, a integração de uma seção de metais, dois excelentes álbuns e várias centenas de shows, incluindo o Olympia em 1978, o grupo se separou em 1979. Todos os membros da Chute Libre tiveram, desde então, grandes carreiras no mundo do jazz ou música clássica.

Olivier Hutman tocou no grupo Moravagine em 1975 (1º álbum) com Denis Barbier e Mino Cinélu. Doutor em Etnologia, Olivier Hutman escreveu música para filmes nos anos 80, tocou com Abus Dangereux em 1985 e tornou-se pianista, compositor e arranjador francês com grande demanda na França e nos Estados Unidos. Em 1999, ingressou na L'Orient Express Moving Schnorers, agora Klezmer Nova. Em 2002, criou um trio com Pierre Maingourd e Mathias Allamane (contrabaixo) e Bruno Ziarelli (bateria). Em 2005, foi pianista e diretor musical da cantora Anne Ducros.

Umberto Pagnini tocou por dois anos na Big Band de Claude Bolling, depois em Martial Solal e Captain Mercier, antes de tocar bateria em sua própria banda de jazz La Cricca, onde se juntava com frequência, como convidado, Didier Lockwood.

Gilles Douïeb tocou com Il Etait une Fois no estúdio e em alguns shows. Nos anos 80, tocou com Bill Deraime e Bernard Lavilliers. Ele se juntou ao grupo Crakitos em 1987 e, em 1989, ingressou na Captain Mercier. Ele também cruzou o caminho com Henri Salvador nos anos 90.

Seu nome é então associado a Miles Davis, Marcus Miller, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Peter Gabriel, Lou Reed, Joe Cocker, Sting, Michel Portal, entre outros. Ele começou um trio com John Scofield e Darry John e desde 2000 iniciou uma carreira solo. Na França, ele tocou com Bernard Lavilliers ("Les barbares" em 1976 e "Carnets de bord" em 2004), Alain Bashung (no álbum "L'imprudence", de 2002) e com Michel Polnareff em seu álbum ao vivo "Ze(re) tour", de 2007, que marca a volta do cantor e compositor francês aos palcos depois de 34 anos de ausência.

Denis Barbier compôs músicas para cinema e TV antes de recorrer à música clássica.

STORY

Bassist Gilles Douïeb created Chute Libre in 1975 with three other Boulogne Billancourt friends: Olivier Hutman on keyboards, Umberto Pagnini on drums and Mino Cinélu on vocals and percussion. After a contract with EMI, the integration of a brass section, two excellent albums and several hundred shows, including Olympia in 1978, the group broke up in 1979. All members of Chute Libre have since had great careers. in the world of jazz or classical music.

Olivier Hutman played in the group Moravagine in 1975 (1st album) with Denis Barbier and Mino Cinélu. PhD in Ethnology, Olivier Hutman wrote music for films in the 1980s, played with Abus Dangereux in 1985, and became a pianist, composer, and arranger in France in the United States.
