9:30 Fly foi uma banda de folk rock progressivo formada em Cheltenham, Grã-Bretanha, em 1971. Eles logo ganharam popularidade local, chegando a se apresentar como ato de abertura para a The Velvet Underground no Malver Winter Gardens, em novembro de 1972. 9:30 Fly were a progressive folk rock band formed in Cheltenham, Great Britain, in 1971. They soon gained local popularity, even performing as the opening act for The Velvet Underground at Malver Winter Gardens in November 1972 The band's only album, released on the Ember label in 1972, became legendary for the originality of its music and also for being very rare. Although the album did not make a commercial impression at the time of its release, it is now considered a milestone in progressive folk rock. After releasing their only LP, the band broke up.
