Progresiv TM - Dreptul de a visa - 1976 (Heavy Progressive Rock {Romênia})

Progresiv TM foi uma banda romena de rock (progressivo, fusion, hard), originalmente de Timișoara. Fundada em 1972, a banda tem uma atividade concertística há quase duas décadas. Na década de 1970, lançou dois álbuns - "Dreptul de a visa" e "Puterea muzicii" ("O direito de sonhar" e "O poder da música", respectivamente) - que se tornaram clássicos do gênero e são atualmente considerados álbuns de referência do rock romeno.

HISTÓRIA

Progresiv TM foi uma banda de rock oriunda de Timișoara, Romênia. A banda, fundada em outubro de 1972, chamava-se Clasic XX, depois adotando o nome Progresiv TM em abril de 1973, inspirado na Locomotiv GT. A sua primeira aparição foi no Sala Olimpia em Timișoara, com grande sucesso de público.

A formação inicial incluiu Harry Coradini (Harald Kolbl, nascido em 20 de fevereiro de 1944, em Timișoara, vocal), Ladislau Herdina (guitarra solo, violão, vocais), Zoltan "Zoli" Kovacs (baixo), Helmuth "Hely" Moszbrucker (bateria) e Ștefan Pentek (teclados). Em 1974, a banda se apresentou no Teatrul Maghiar em Timișoara, onde encenou o show pop "Acest pămînt", com o qual excursionou pelo país.

Em 1975, Kovacs foi substituído por Ilie Stepan (baixo, violão - nascido em 24 de novembro de 1953, em Caransebeș) e o grupo recebeu dois novos membros: Mihai Farcaș (bateria, percussão) e Gheorghe Torz (flauta). Em setembro de 1975, essa formação conseguiu produzir o primeiro LP, "Dreptul de a visa". O disco surge no mercado sob os auspícios da gravadora Electrecord, no início de 1976. Ainda no mesmo ano, o grupo aparece com duas faixas - "Acest pămînt" e "Crede-mă" -, no disco "Formații de muzică pop 1", o primeiro da série "Formații rock" lançado pela gravadora Electrecord, na Romênia.

Em setembro de 1976, a banda se desfez. Coradini e Herdina fazem as pazes e, junto com Liviu Tudan (baixo, piano, voz [Dumitru Liviu Tunsoiu, nascido em 29 de novembro de 1947, em Bucareste - falecido em 26 de maio de 2005]), Florin Ochescu (guitarra solo, ex-Curtea Veche nr. 43 [nascido em 9 de fevereiro de 1952, em Bucareste]) e Dumitru Bădilă (bateria) - todos os três da banda de Bucareste Roșu și Negru -, começam a escrever um poema de rock chamado "Zburătorul" inspirado no épico poema de Ion Heliade Rădulescu. Infelizmente, as letras das músicas não foram aceitas pela Censura e tiveram que ser reescritas por Daniela Crăsnaru, para que pudessem ser usadas para o registro. Apenas as melodias musicais permaneceram iguais. Mais tarde, Dumitru Bădilă foi substituído por Ion Cristian "Călare" (bateria, vocal, ex-Sincron, Sfinx).

Em 1979 o álbum "Puterea muzicii" aparece, sendo considerado um dos primeiros álbuns que viriam a ser classificados como precursores do gênero progressive metal. Depois de lançar o álbum, o supergrupo se desintegrou. Coradini saiu do país e Herdina retornou a Timișoara, onde mais tarde restabeleceu o grupo com novos membros e ao mesmo tempo foi-se feita uma mudança de estilo: de rock progressivo para hard rock.

Em 1983 a formação da banda era composta por: Ladislau Herdina (guitarra), Ionel "Nae" Tarnoczi (vocal), Mircea Jebelean (bateria), Tavi Iepan (guitarra, posteriormente fundador da Cargo), Otto Schröder (baixo). Depois participaram também: Cristian Ioniță "Zăpadă" (guitarra e voz, nascido em 9 de junho de 1953, em Bucareste, ex-Marfar, ex-Metrock, depois em Voltaj e novamente em Metrock) e Vlady Cnejevici (teclados, nascido em 13 de dezembro, 1962, em Timișoara, mais tarde na Compact, Pasărea Colibri, Laura Stoica Band, Blue Workers e Pacifica).

Em maio de 2020, Vlady Cnejevici, juntamente com Ghighi N. Lovin e Teo Boar, gravou "Vorbă dulce din bătrâni", peça que fez parte do repertório de concertos da Progresiv TM nos anos 80, mas que nunca foi gravada em estúdio. Esta é a última gravação de Ghighi Lovin, que faleceu em abril de 2021. Em junho de 2021, foi publicado um vídeo da música "Gând curat" de um show dos anos oitenta com a Progresiv TM. Progresiv TM was a rock band from Timișoara, Romania. The band, founded in October 1972, was called Clasic XX, later adopting the name Progresiv TM in April 1973, inspired by the Locomotiv GT. Their first appearance was at the Sala Olimpia in Timișoara, with great public success.

The initial lineup included Harry Coradini (Harald Kolbl, born February 20, 1944, in Timișoara, vocals), Ladislau Herdina (lead guitar, acoustic guitar, vocals), Zoltan "Zoli" Kovacs (bass), Helmuth "Hely" Moszbrucker (drums) and Ștefan Pentek (keyboards). In 1974, the band performed at the Teatrul Maghiar in Timișoara, where they staged the pop show "Acest pămînt", with which they toured the country.

In 1975, Kovacs was replaced by Ilie Stepan (bass, guitar - born November 24, 1953, in Caransebeș) and the group received two new members: Mihai Farcaș (drums, percussion) and Gheorghe Torz (flute). In September 1975, this formation managed to produce the first LP, "Dreptul de a visa". The album appears on the market under the auspices of the Electrecord label, in early 1976. In the same year, the group appears with two tracks - "Acest pămînt" and "Crede-mă" -, on the album "Formații de muzică pop 1". , the first of the "Formații rock" series released by the Electrecord label, in Romania.

In September 1976, the band disbanded. In May 2020, Vlady Cnejevici, together with Ghighi N. Lovin and Teo Boar, recorded "Vorbă dulce din bătrâni", a piece that was part of the Progresiv TM concert repertoire in the 80s, but which was never recorded in the studio. This is the last recording of Ghighi Lovin, who passed away in April 2021. In June 2021, a video for the song "Gând curat" from an eighties concert with Progresiv TM was published. This song is the last track on the band's second album, "Puterea muzicii", and this is the only footage featuring Ghighi Lovin found in the Romanian television archive.
