HISTÓRIA

Nascido em 1991, em Ibiporã (Paraná, Brasil), iniciou seus estudos em música aos 14 anos com o guitarrista e professor Wander Lourenço. Em 2012 ingressou no curso de licenciatura em música na Universidade Estadual de Londrina, formando-se em 2016. Em 2013 entrou na banda The Hitz (rock e pop anos 80), para assumir o posto de guitarrista, até então ocupado pelo seu professor Wander Lourenço. Durante 5 anos tocou em diversas cidades do Paraná, Santa Catarina, São Paulo, Mato Grosso do Sul e Paraguai, fazendo uma média de 60 shows por ano. Em 2017 a banda passou por uma mudança em sua formação e alterou o nome para The Cometz, logo em seguida ficando somente Cometz, continuando os trabalhos anteriormente desenvolvidos e acrescentando em seu repertório um tributo à banda britânica Queen.

De dezembro de 2017 à abril de 2018 estudou com o guitarrista nacionalmente reconhecido Eduardo Ardanuy (Dr. Sin), indo para São Paulo mensalmente em sua residência para aulas particulares. Renan reside na cidade de Londrina (Paraná), leciona desde os 18 anos e atualmente é professor de guitarra e violão na Escola de Música ArtMusic e educador musical no Instituto Roberto Miranda, em um projeto de música para deficientes visuais e pessoas com necessidades especias, além de ministrar aulas online.

Em 2019 fez parte da banda de death metal Hellpath lançando o single "Metal zone" e um vídeo clip do mesmo (disponíveis nas mídias digitais), mas por motivos internos acabou deixando a banda. Neste mesmo ano começou a produzir e apresentar mensalmente o programa Guitar Masters na rádio online RYR (Rock You Radio), programa inteiramente voltado aos amantes da guitarra. Além da Cometz, atualmente toca na banda Badfripp (rock progressivo), e acaba de finalizar seu primeiro disco solo que será lançado no primeiro semestre de 2021 com as participações de Edu Ardanuy (solo, Dr. Sin, Sinistra) e Derek Sherinian (Dream Theather, Yngwie Malmsteen, Sons of Apollo, Black Country Communion). 

Renan tem 3 singles lançados em formato digital disponíveis em todas as plataformas online. Renan conta com o apoio e parceria da Hayamax Distribuidora, Hayonik, Loja Sonkey, Acessórios Fender, amplificadores Oneal Áudio, Guitar Tuning Luthieria, Well Consulting e Spoleto Londrina e faz parte do cast de artistas da MS Metal Agency Brasil.

Data oficial de lançamento 17 de maio de 2021. "Inception" foi gravado e produzido por Alexandre Bressan (3EM1 Studio, Londrina/PR). Renan Lourenço faz parte do cast de artistas da agência MS Metal Agency Brasil e o full-lenght será lançado pela Alternative Music Records e contará com a parceria de distribuição digital da CD-Baby e física da Voice Music.

HISTORY

Born in 1991, in Ibiporã (Paraná, Brasil), he began his studies in music at the age of 14 with guitarist and teacher Wander Lourenço. In 2013 he joined the band The Hitz (rock and pop 80s), to assume the position of guitarist, until then occupied by his teacher Wander Lourenço. For 5 years he played in several cities in Paraná, Santa Catarina, São Paulo, Mato Grosso do Sul and Paraguay, performing an average of 60 shows per year. In 2017 the band underwent a change in their line-up and changed the name to The Cometz, shortly thereafter remaining only Cometz, continuing the work previously developed and adding a tribute to the British band Queen in their repertoire.

From December 2017 to April 2018 he studied with the guitarist nationally recognized Eduardo Ardanuy (Dr. Sin), going to São Paulo monthly at your home for private lessons. Renan lives in the city of Londrina (Paraná), teaches since he was 18 and he is currently a guitar and guitar teacher at the Escola de Música ArtMusic and a music educator at the Roberto Miranda Institute, in a music project for the visually impaired and people with special needs, in addition to giving classes online.

In 2019 he was part of the death metal band Hellpath releasing the single "Metal zone" and a video clip of it (available on digital media), but for internal reasons he ended up leaving the band.
