Hardal - Nasıl? Ne zaman? - ‎1980 (Progressive Anatolian Rock {Turquia})

Pérola vinda da Turquia, formada na segunda metade da década de 70 em Istambul. O grupo Hardal (em português "Mostarda") lançou 3 álbuns, dois no ano de 1980 e o último em 1999, provavelmente em um retorno. A banda passou despercebida da cena local, por estar em atividade num período de decadência do "Anatolian rock". Posto aqui seu debut "Nasıl? Ne zaman?" ("Como? Quando?"), gravado entre 1979 e 80 e relançado pela Shadocks em 2009.

Apesar da data e enfraquecimento da cena local na época, a obra se revela como uma das melhores surpresas vindas do país mesclando de forma agradável hard, psicodelia e rock progressivo, sem deixar de lado as raízes características do Rock da Anatólia, soando como se fosse de anos anteriores. O instrumental é competente e dominado pelas guitarras, além de boas passagens de sintetizador. As letras são todas em turco e com alguns belos momentos de vocal feminino. Consistente e ótima pedida para fãs de psych/prog rock e, claro, "Anatolian rock".

Pearl from Turkey, formed in the second half of the 70's in Istanbul.

The group Hardal (in English "Mustard") released 3 albums, two in the year 1980 and the last one in 1999, probably in a return. The band went unnoticed from the local scene, being in activity in a period of decadence of "Anatolian rock". Put here your debut "Nasıl? Ne zaman?" ("How? When?"), recorded between 1979 and 80 and reissued by Shadocks in 2009.

Despite the date and weakening of the local scene at the time, the work reveals itself as one of the best surprises coming from the country, mixing in a nice way hard, psychedelic and progressive rock,

without leaving aside the characteristic roots of the Anatolian rock,

sounding like it was from previous years. The instrumental is competent and dominated by guitars, as well as good passages of synthesizer. The lyrics are all in Turkish and with some beautiful female vocal moments. Consistent and great demand for fans of psych/prog rock and, of course, "Anatolian rock".
