Este é o álbum de estréia da banda de folk-rock de Bergen, formada em 1971.

O nome do grupo refere-se a uma gangue de criminosos do oeste selvagem americano.

"Hole-in-the-Wall" era a "palavra-passe" nas montanhas no condado de Johnson (Wyoming),

onde os criminosos tinham seu próprio refúgio.

A música da banda é uma mistura interessante de country americano, folk, rock and roll e psicodelia.

O componente folk é enfatizado pelo uso ativo de acústica e passagens típicas de violino,

mas, ao mesmo tempo, há vários teclados e violões de blues em várias faixas.

O álbum não tem pontos fracos, sendo excelente do começo ao fim

mas, ainda assim, destaco as faixas: "Restless man", "Big Nancy",

"Four tomorrows" e a belíssima "Pass the word".

Este é, com certeza, um dos melhores álbums
de folk-rock já produzidos na Noruega!

O frontman do grupo, Rune Walle, mais tarde se tornou um membro da

Ozark Mountain Daredevils, e também tocou em The Flying Norwegians.

Em 1978, com uma nova formação, a banda gravou seu segundo álbum, “Rose of Barcelona”.

This is the debut album of Bergen's folk-rock band, formed in 1971.

The group's name refers to a gang of criminals from the American wild west.

"Hole-in-the-Wall" was the "password" in the mountains in Johnson County (Wyoming),

where criminals had their own refuge.

The band's music is an interesting mix of American country, folk, rock and roll and psychedelia.

The folk component is emphasized by the active use of acoustics and typical violin passages,

but at the same time there are several keyboards and blues guitars in various tracks.

The album has no weaknesses, being excellent from beginning to end

but I still highlight the tracks: "Restless man", "Big Nancy",

"Four tomorrows" and the beautiful "Pass the word".

This is certainly one of the best folk-rock
albums ever produced in Norway!

The frontman of the group, Rune Walle, later became a member of

Ozark Mountain Daredevils, and also played in The Flying Norwegians.

In 1978, with a new lineup, the band recorded their second album, "Rose of Barcelona".
