"Rock & horror", com uma releitura de "Jack the

Ripper" e o lançamento de 1991 "Screaming Lord

Sutch & The Savages", que traz os singles lança-

dos pelo grupo que, durante sua existência, não

chegou a gravar um long play (LP).

Screaming Lord Sutch & The Savages

foi um grupo de rock britânico do início

dos anos 1960, com uma formação em cons-

tante mudança de músicos e um gosto por temas

de horror e humor doido. O grupo foi fundado

pelo baterista Carlo Little, que era um amigo

de David Sutch, mais conhecido

como Screaming Lord Sutch.

Dos muitos músicos que tocavam

com a Savages ao longo dos anos, alguns

continuaram estrelando por si só, principal-

mente Jimmy Page, Ritchie Blackmore, Jeff

Beck, Noel Redding, Jon Lord, Matthew Fisher,

Ian Hunter, Adrian Gurvitz, o ator Paul Nicholas

e Nicky Hopkins.

Here is a second post from this weird figure

known as Screaming Lord Sutch. In this post

I bring the 1982 album, "Rock & horror", with a

rereading of "Jack the Ripper" and the 1991

release "Screaming Lord Sutch & The Sava-

ges", featuring singles released by the

group that, during its existence, did

not record a long play (LP).

Screaming Lord Sutch & The Savages

was a British rock group from the early

1960s, sporting an ever-changing line-up of

musicians and a taste for horror themes and

zany humour. The group was founded by

drummer Carlo Little, who was a friend of

David Sutch, better known as

Screaming Lord Sutch.

Of the many musicians who

played with Savages over the years, some

continued to star on their own, most notably

Jimmy Page, Ritchie Blackmore, Jeff Beck, Noel

Redding, Jon Lord, Matthew Fisher, Ian Hunter,

Adrian Gurvitz, the actor Paul Nicholas,

and Nicky Hopkins.
