The keyboardist and vocalist John Morgan was a Graham Bond member who turned to psychedelia in the 1960s. Originally announced as Spirit of John Morgan, the band was successful enough to be hired for Marquee and other major clubs, and recorded three albums.

His self-titled debut in 1969 was followed by two more LPs - "Age machine" in 1970, and "Kaleidoscope" in 1971 (the latter simply credited to John Morgan) - by the Carnaby label. He also recorded a single for the British RCA in the early 70's. Phil Shutt later played bass in the band Arthur Brown's Kingdom Come.

In the early 1980s, John Morgan moved to Saint-Tropez, where he stayed until the end of 2000. He participated in many European festivals, including Montreux (Switzerland), with a formation composed of Jean-Pierre Prévotat (drums), Marc "Rocky" Demeulemeester (guitar) and Thierry "Kerassios" Varipatis (bass). John Morgan died in 2007. Mick Walker is a member of the new formation of cult band Titanic (2008).
