Condition Green - Life of change - 1978 (Hard Rock {Japão})

Após o Japão ter sido derrotado na Segunda Guerra Mundial, a ilha de Okinawa foi ocupada pelos Estados Unidos. Esse fato influenciou notavelmente a cultura e, principalmente, o gosto musical dos jovens ilhéus. Tudo isso causou o aparecimento de grupos como Murasaki e Condition Green.

O grupo nasceu no início dos anos 70 na ilha de Okinawa. Quatro jovens influenciados pela música americana formam a banda e começam a se apresentar nos salões de jogos frequentados por americanos. Em 1978, seu primeiro álbum, "Life of change", é lançado e, um ano depois, a banda publica o segundo, "Mixed-up". Após o segundo lançamento, a banda desapareceu.

"Life of change" é composto por oito músicas, nas quais, o trabalho do guitarrista Sinki Sugama se destaca acima de tudo. A música é influenciada por bandas como Led Zeppelin, Free e Grand Funk Railroad. Os vocais são cantados em inglês.

O líder da banda, Katchan, ainda está ativo, apesar da idade. Ele administra uma pequena casa de shows em Koza, na Second Gate Street, muito popular entre os militares americanos.

After Japan was defeated in World War II, Okinawa Island was occupied by the United States. This fact notably influenced the culture and, especially, the musical taste of the young islanders. All of this has led to the emergence of groups like Murasaki and Condition Green.

The group was born in the early 70's on Okinawa Island. Four youngsters influenced by American music form the band and begin performing at the American-owned gaming halls. In 1978, its first album, "Life of change", was released and a year later the band released its second album, "Mixed-up". After the second release, the band disappeared.

"Life of change" is composed of eight songs, in which guitarist Sinki Sugama's work stands out above all. The music is influenced by bands like Led Zeppelin, Free and Grand Funk Railroad. The vocals are sung in English.

The leader of the band, Katchan, is still active despite his age. He runs a small live house in Koza at the Second Gate Street, which is quite popular among the American servicemen.
