Recorded in 1969, this excellent collection of rural rock was described as "an extra Buffalo Springfield album" because it includes, for mysterious reasons, six rare songs by Neil Young and Steven Stills. These songs were composed during the heyday of Buffalo Springfield, but were not released by them, many of which are available only on this eponymous album. Most of these songs never left the studio, except in the form of acetate, finding their way into the hands of temporary leader Jerry Tawney, who easily turned them into a quick profit.

There are also three tracks written by leader Jerry Tawney and an elegant cover of "God knows I love you" by Delaney & Bonnie. With tasty guitar tracks and harmonious vocals, this missing jewel is a delight for all West Coast rock fans.
