A banda foi formada a partir dos restos da Beacon Street Union. Depois de lançar dois long-players virtualmente inéditos, a Beacon Street Union foi abandonada por sua gravadora no final de 1968. Em 1970, John Lincoln Wright (vocal), Robert Rosenblatt (teclados, metais), Richard Weissberg (bateria, percussão) e Wayne Ulaky (baixo) aprimoraram seu som de uma forma muito mais terrena, criando uma vibe acessível. The band was formed from the remains of the Beacon Street Union. After launching two virtually unprecedented long-players, Beacon Street Union was abandoned by its label in late 1968. In 1970, John Lincoln Wright (vocals), Robert Rosenblatt (keyboards, metals), Richard Weissberg (drums, percussion) and Wayne Ulaky (bass) enhanced his sound in a much more earthly way, creating an accessible vibe. They maintained the strong melodic sensitivity that drove the best material from "Eyes of the Beacon Street Union" (1968) and "The clown died in Marvin Gardens" (1968). Following current trends, "Come under Nancy's tent" (1970), which was Eagle's only release, combines solid and aggressive electric rock with the rhythmic sound of the singers and composers of the early 70s movement.

The LP "Come under Nancy's tent" was released by the Janus label (JLS 3011) in 1970, in the United States. This is yet another unofficial Russian edition that brings us a little joy. Enjoy!
