To Be - To Be - 1977 (Jazz Fusion Rock {Alemanha})

To Be foi um supergrupo alemão de músicos de pop e rock de Hamburgo, tendo dentre eles Christian Manfred Lembrecht (também conhecido como Lemmie Lembrecht) que tocou com a banda de Achim Reichel, A.R. & Machines. O grupo decidiu então seguir carreira com música instrumental voltada para o fusion/jazz rock. O primeiro álbum do grupo foi lançado em 1977 pelo selo Brain.

Não se encontram muitas informações sobre o grupo na internet, mas no site Discogs é possível ver que a banda tem outro LP, lançado em 1982 e também auto-intitulado, mas desta vez pelo selo MMG. Além de mais três álbums no formato streaming (mp3, AAC) lançados pela Oh Yes! Records, criada por Claus-Robert Kruse, que tocou os teclados no grupo. Os álbums são "Welcome", "Borneo" (ambos de 2006, o segundo não está registrado no site Discogs) e "Fusion for fridays" (de 2019).

O álbum é bom e deve agradar aos fãs de fusion. Não é muito experimental, mas é bom de se ouvir. Aqui está mais uma das reedições russas não-oficiais de 2021. Agora é só baixar e escutar. Aproveite!

To Be was a German supergroup of pop and rock musicians from Hamburg, among them Christian Manfred Lembrecht (also known as Lemmie Lembrecht) who played with Achim Reichel's band, A.R. & Machines. The group then decided to pursue a career with instrumental music focused on fusion/jazz rock. The group's first album was released in 1977 on the Brain label.

There is not much information about the group on the internet, but on the Discogs website it is possible to see that the band has another LP, released in 1982 and also self-titled, but this time by the MMG label. In addition to three more albums in streaming format (mp3, AAC) released by Oh Yes! Records, created by Claus-Robert Kruse, who played the keyboards in the group. The albums are "Welcome", "Borneo" (both from 2006, the second is not registered on the Discogs website) and "Fusion for fridays" (from 2019).

The album is good and should appeal to fusion fans. It is not very experimental, but it is good to hearing. Here's another one of the 2021 unofficial Russian reissues. Now just download and listen. Enjoy!
