Liquid Smoke foi um grupo de Long Island, Nova York, que consistia em Sandy Pantaleo (vocal principal), Vince Fersak (guitarra), Ben Ninnman (teclados), Mike Archuleta (baixo) e Chas Kimbrell (bateria).

O grupo foi formado enquanto seus integrantes eram estudantes da East Carolina University. Liquid Smoke assinou com a AVCO Embassy em 1969, lançando seu único LP no início de 1970, que foi produzido por Vinny Testa, que também produziu a Frijid Pink e co-produziu com Shadow Morton a obra-prima psicodélica de 1968 da Merchants of Dream, "Strange night voyage".

Liquid Smoke was a Long Island, New York group that consisted of Sandy Pantaleo (lead vocals), Vince Fersak (guitar), Ben Ninnman (keyboards), Mike Archuleta (bass), and Chas Kimbrell (drums).

The group was formed while its members are students at East Carolina University. Liquid Smoke signed with AVCO Embassy in 1969, releasing their lone lp in early 1970 which was produced by Vinny Testa who also produced Frijid Pink and co-produced with Shadow Morton the Merchants of Dream's 1968 psychedelic masterpiece "Strange night voyage".

The group's killer psychedelic track "Lookin' for tomorrow" was the highlight of Peruvian band Gerardo Manuel & El Humo's debut lp "Apocallypsis". The album also includes its single "I, who have nothing" a cover of the Ben E. King hit which was also covered earlier by Terry Knight & The Pack, and later by Tom Jones and Sylvester.

Sandy Panaleo would later go on to a successful acting, vocalist and composer career as Sonny Rose.
