The drummer and composer Zohar Levi gathered in August 1971 a group of Acherit a-Yamim, along with people from army groups and beat bands of the time. The fourth was the singer Miri Aloni , the famous star of the army ensembles. She turned to Levi with a request to write songs for her, but, having heard about his plans to create her own group, she offered herself as a singer (however, she left the group even before the end of the recording of material for the album and participated only in a few concerts of the group). Soon another newcomer from the army groups appeared - Gabi Shoshan, a former member of The Chocolate Trio.

"Acherit Yamim was the end of a process that began a few years earlier, during the Queen's Bath, and the main idea was to create a cosmopolitan group, both from a musical and geographical point of view. And one of the important factors was to take Hebrew and combine it with music, singing, arrangements and performance - in all possible combinations, to put everything in one group. And in the group, however, I do not know whether it was accidental or not, but all the people who were there were all from different spheres. Gabi Shoshan is from Moroccans, Churchill is a freak from a-Yarkon Street, Miri Aloni is from an army ensemble, Eli Magen is a Sabra. In 1972, the group was a great success, and was named the band of the year in the charts of two leading radio stations - the Voice of Israel and Galei Tsakhal. The artistic success was great, but from a commercial point of view, they were too ahead of their time - the group failed to win public recognition, and after the financial failure of the album, it fell apart. Arik Einsten tried to save the band by inviting her to a joint tour, in which they were both his accompanists and played their program, but six months later he was forced to interrupt these concerts due to financial failure.
