The Lions foi um dos grupos mais importantes e bem-sucedidos
do rock psicodélico israelense entre os anos 1969 e 1974.
Embora nunca tenham lançado um álbum completo, eles gravaram muitos singles,
sendo que dois deles chegaram às paradas britânicas:
"Our love's a growing thing" (1969) e "Give me" (1970).
Essas duas músicas e outras como "Wheel of love", "Satan, what you want from me?",
"Mary cries help" e o primeiro hit de reggae israelense,

Formed in the end of the year 1966 by the musicians Yehoshua and Chaim Algranati,
The Lions was one of the most important and successful
groups of the psychedelic Israeli rock between years 1969 and 1974.
Although they never released a full album, they recorded many singles,
with two of them making their way to the British charts:
"Our love's a growing thing" (1969) and "Give me" (1970).
These two songs and others like "Wheel of love", "Satan, what you want from me?",
"Mary cries help" and the first Israeli reggae hit,
"I've got starshine, I've got love" (1971) were mega-hits in Israel for years.
They also recorded the Hebrew hits "Red phamtom", "You are not good",
