Quando Prucel lançou seu único álbum pela Philips em 1975, VG (Verdens Gang - "O curso do mundo" -, geralmente conhecido pela abreviatura VG, é um tabloide norueguês) se referiu a eles como "uma revista um tanto não descrita", apesar do fato de a banda ter começado tudo em 1968. Os membros da Prucel vieram de Nordstrand e Hauketo, em Oslo, e inicialmente tocaram em clubes de jovens nestas redondezas. Também houve vários shows no lendário Club 7. Prucel também teve a honra de participar do primeiro Kalvøya Festival em 1971, junto com artistas como Finn Kalvik, Kristin Berglund, Snu, Jan Garbarek e Ruphus.

Em junho de 1974, Prucel ganhou um show de rock no Great Hall do Chateau Neuf, competindo com - entre outros - Høst, Flax, Shimmy e Nurk Twins. Como resultado, a banda foi selecionada para se apresentar no Ragnaröck Festival em Holmenkollen no mesmo ano, um evento bastante escandaloso, onde nem Titanic, Prudence ou Hawkwind foram permitidas no palco.

O álbum "Easy pieces" foi produzido por Nils B. Kvam e pela próprios membros da Prucel. O tablóide Verdens Gang chamou o resultado de "muito bem-sucedido", apesar de a banda ter ficado apenas alguns dias no estúdio. Prucel também teve uma de suas músicas lançada no álbum de compilação "Heavy norsk" (Philips, 1976), mas todos decidiram separar-se depois que seus instrumentos e equipamentos foram roubados. Tollefsen mais tarde se destacou com a banda de tributo a The Rolling Stones, Wazoo.

HISTORY

When Prucel released their only album on Philips in 1975, VG (Verdens Gang - "The course of the world" -, commonly known by the abbreviation VG, is a Norwegian tabloid) referred to them as "a rather undescribed magazine", though from the fact that the band started it all in 1968. The members of Prucel came from Nordstrand and Hauketo, in Oslo, and initially played in youth clubs in the vicinity. There were also several concerts at the legendary Club 7. Prucel was also honored to participate in the first Kalvøya Festival in 1971, alongside artists such as Finn Kalvik, Kristin Berglund, Snu, Jan Garbarek and Ruphus.

In June 1974, Prucel won a rock concert at the Great Hall of Chateau Neuf, competing with - among others - Høst, Flax, Shimmy and Nurk Twins. As a result, the band was selected to perform at the Ragnaröck Festival in Holmenkollen that same year, a rather scandalous event where neither Titanic, Prudence or Hawkwind were allowed on stage.

The album "Easy pieces" was produced by Nils B. Kvam and Prucel members themselves. Tabloid Verdens Gang called the result "very successful", despite the band's being in the studio for only a few days. Prucel also had one of his songs released on the compilation album "Heavy norsk" (Philips, 1976), but everyone decided to split up after his instruments and equipment were stolen. Tollefsen later stood out with The Rolling Stones' tribute band Wazoo.
